Station Description
92.3 FMR Manila, identified by the call sign DWFM, is the flagship station of the Favorite Music Radio network. Its Filipino-language programming combines popular music and OPM with presenter-led entertainment, listener stories, and conversations about everyday life.
The frequency’s broadcasting history dates to 1973, when it began as MRS 92.3, short for “Most Requested Song.” Its adult contemporary format featured a most-requested song every hour. Over subsequent decades, it adopted several identities: Joey, associated with smooth jazz; XFM, which explored electronic music before returning to jazz; and U92, which featured contemporary hits and a youth-oriented presentation.
In November 2010, the station became Radyo5 92.3 News FM, shifting to news, commentary, and public service. Another chapter began on November 4, 2024, when Favorite Music Radio launched on the frequency under Philippine Collective Media Corporation’s operation. The launch returned music and entertainment to the center of its programming, with a morning show opening the new service.
The current lineup includes Good Vibes, Good Morning, featuring Joco Loco and Mama Mia, and Favorite Vibe. Love Me, Cathy G brings listener experiences, relationship questions, and advice into the midday broadcast. Banana Krew, hosted by Jhai Ho, adds music, lively conversations, and guest appearances by artists and entertainers.
Evening offerings include Ai-Deeva Nights and Heart Speaks. Published Ai-Deeva Nights broadcasts feature themed selections such as OPM Monday, Alternative Tuesday, Pop Wednesday, and Throwback Thursday. Heart Speaks invites listeners to share personal concerns and relationship stories with DJ Alex.
