MOR Entertainment continues the music and storytelling tradition of MOR 101.9 My Only Radio For Life! Manila through online streaming, podcasts, and digital entertainment. Its offerings bring together Filipino music, listener stories, relationship discussions, and programs featuring personalities from different regions of the Philippines.

The former Manila station, DWRR-FM, traces its broadcasting history to 1956. Over the decades, it operated under several identities, including Radio Romance, WRR 101.9, and Tambayan 101.9. On July 8, 2013, it adopted the MOR 101.9 name, joining ABS-CBN’s regional stations under the My Only Radio brand. Its mix of music, humor, and personal storytelling included Dear MOR, a drama anthology developed from the earlier Dear Jasmin program.

MOR’s move away from FM followed the loss of ABS-CBN’s terrestrial broadcasting authority. The company’s legislative franchise expired on May 4, 2020, and the National Telecommunications Commission issued a cease-and-desist order the following day, stopping its radio and television broadcasts. On July 10, 2020, the House Committee on Legislative Franchises rejected its application for a new franchise. MOR’s original operations subsequently concluded in August 2020 as ABS-CBN reduced its businesses and workforce.

Online distribution provided a way to continue reaching listeners after the FM shutdown. MOR resumed digital programming in September 2020 and formally launched as MOR Entertainment on February 14, 2021. The relaunch brought together presenters from Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, with live online shows, podcasts, and video content.

Dear MOR remains a prominent part of this digital identity, presenting stories about love, heartbreak, family, and personal struggles. Its podcast allows listeners to play episodes on demand, while accompanying Pagkatapos Ng Drama episodes offer advice and reflections on the featured stories. The published podcast catalog continues to include episodes released in 2026.

MOR’s digital programming has also featured Good Time ’To!, 143 For Life, SLR, and MOR Playlist, covering entertainment, everyday conversations, relationships, and music. Online listening combines scheduled broadcasts with content that audiences can revisit whenever convenient. Listeners should consult MOR’s official pages for current live-program schedules.

As for its former frequency, 101.9 MHz was specifically included in the NTC’s recall of ABS-CBN’s broadcast assignments. The decision, dated September 9, 2020, listed DWRR-FM’s assignment in Antipolo, Rizal, and revoked the broadcasting authorizations covered by the order. MOR Entertainment’s online continuation therefore does not represent a resumption of the former MOR 101.9 terrestrial service; “101.9” identifies its broadcasting heritage.
