Easy Rock Manila

Easy Rock Manila, identified by the call sign DWRK, is the flagship station of the Easy Rock network. Its programming centers on soft adult contemporary music, combining familiar love songs, mellow pop, soft rock, and selected OPM in a format suited to relaxed everyday listening.

The station’s history dates to 1972, when it operated as DWBC-FM. On February 4, 1980, it adopted the DWRK call sign and became RK96 Real Radio, featuring a lite rock format. It rebranded as 96.3 WRocK on October 15, 1988, developing the soft adult contemporary sound that became closely associated with the frequency. Following its acquisition by Manila Broadcasting Company in October 2008, the station adopted the Easy Rock name on May 18, 2009.

Easy Rock’s musical identity builds on that heritage, blending adult contemporary favorites from the 1970s and 1980s with newer ballads and melodic hits. Its emphasis on music and limited conversation makes it a companion for office work, commuting, and unwinding at home. The station’s presentation aims to provide a comfortable listening atmosphere while keeping familiar songs at the center of the broadcast.

Programs featured on its current official website include Good Vibes with Samantha, Afternoons with Chloe – Your Daily Dose, Anything Under The Shai, and Lite All Night with Andre Jordan. Samantha also presents Wonderful Weekend, while other featured segments include Chloe’s Inbox and Jasmine’s Tea. These shows add personal conversations, everyday observations, and entertainment to the station’s music mix.

Beyond its FM broadcast, Easy Rock offers online listening and an official mobile app, helping listeners stay connected outside its terrestrial coverage area. Its digital platforms also feature music stories, entertainment updates, and ways to follow its presenters, extending the station’s presence beyond the radio dial.
